Bart, I have been editing a :30 spot that has 15 flying boxes over a marble background in FCP / OSX latest versions 10.2.4. FCP crashed a lot. It seemed everytime I went to adjust a box motion path FCP disappeared along with the saved motion favorites. (I noticed the date was 1970 in the time /date. I have the dual gig Quicksilver.) I booted in OS9 and finished the spot with no crashes... Does this sound like a "date bug" associated problem..

PS: The Pinnacle guys must have slipped a Cinewave card firmware update in one of their up-dates. My cinewave card dials in on my system scope a lot/lot better now in both OSX and as I discovered OS9.. And the bars from the Cinewave Card and FCP match up on the vectorscope, that would never happen before this latest round of Pinnacle up-dates.... As they say, 2 steps forward - one step backwards--- thats progress..
