I'm not getting the sync problem if I reboot until the Raid shows up (usually 3 boots does it) and then play with the Cinewave control panel until the "Pro D & A Ref in" preference holds. Then I can fire up FCP and everything is rock solid. The subcarrier phase is still whacked, but it doesn't seem to make any difference. It's this bizarre defaulting to the master / freerun and the subcarrier phase thing that are the remaining problems.

BTW, I have unhooked and rehooked every cable to everything (including the BOB power, and tether to the card) a couple of times. And, as I mentioned, all the BNC video cables are new.
