Re: Poll: How stable is your CinéWave 3.0/FCP 3.04 setup?

[ Bill Davis ] I'm curious to hear how CinéWave/FCP editors are doing in OS X. How stable is your setup? Does it crash? How often?

3.0.4 is thankfully much better than the horrid 3.0.2 version that we should never have been exposed to.

However, whatever instabilities (there are several, as I have moaned about before) are not really related to CineWave at all, as we see them in DV-only FCP systems and Aja/BlackMagic systems as well.

The only CineWave-showstopper for me is the External Video-issue, which is really extremely annoying, and I hope it's fixed in whatever update is coming soon.

Apart from that, it's all looking great, and we're working towards migrating all our CineWave customers to 3.0 as soon as possible.
