If you are getting the "No Audio Embedded" error and you know that there should be embedded audio, then it is probably a preference problem. Try trashing the com.apple.soundprefs in your Library/Preferences folder. (If you don't see it there, you may need to open the Sound Panel in the System Preferences first to create the file -- then trash the file that has been created for good measure.)

That ought to be sufficient, but you might want to trash your MOA Cache in your Final Cut Pro User Data folder just to ensure that your capture presets are regenerated as well.
