Bart's right. I entered my RT serial number and key code from 2.1 and RT Pro loaded right up. I'm fooling around with everything right now. The new Stealth driver seems to be working fine and I have gone step-by-step in the Configuration Guide.

The problem I'm having is with the new Atto ExpresStripe for OSX software. It keeps erroring and won't stripe the drives. I've done all the firmware updates and repeated the process numerous times (the config guide says it may error once and just do it again so it will work - it doesn't). I have the same machine as Walter - got any tips? I have an email in to Atto Tech Support to see what might be wrong.

I did a couple of batch captures at 25% with the drives striped with the built-in Apple OSX Raid 0 software. One was about 30 seconds and it seemed ok at first but the audio / video sync did something really strange on playback. I also tried a 15 minute batch capture but it dropped frames after about 10 minutes and aborted. I'm hoping this is due to a perfomance problem created by the Apple Raid 0 Striping. It is noted in the guide that it is not able to perform adequately in some situations.

The OSX update to Boris RED is really nice. Haven't had a chance to do anything much with it yet, but just poking around I can see it's had some enhancements and is going to be a lot of fun to play with. I wonder if I'll need to use my AE 5.5 much anymore.

Since it's XMAS eve, I suppose I should think about stepping away from the computer and getting some presents wrapped...but first I probably should think about actually getting some presents TO wrap...:-D

Thanks to everyone at Pinnacle for working to get this out. I know you guys got your chops busted from all sides during these last months. Also, thanks to all at Creative Cow who have worked through some really tough times lately to keep this site up. And last but not least, thanks to everyone who so willingly and unselfishly share their knowledge with their peers (and often their competition) so that we all can learn and grow.

Happy Holidays to all!
