Walter,
Thanks for the info. Actually, I'm not interested in the firewire aspect of the answer, more the part about moving my Cinewave captured footage (at 25%) and moving that to a Ti.
So far, I can't play without dropped frames on my older firewire drive. And I can't see through a Sony camera bridge to my NTSC monitor.
Today, I going to dig out my Sony DSR-11 deck and see if that works. I'm also going to wander down to the Apple store here in Denver and pick up the new LaCie 80gb firwire drive (with a throughput of 35 instead of the 15 I have now on my VST drive) and see if that works.
