New Pipe maybe dead or I am doing the wrong thing.

I just get a new pipe studio in the mail I installed it and go to about this mac and nothing in slot 4 I remove it to slot 5 same when I go to the preference I and click on pipe it said {no Kext loaded} what am I dooing wrong please help.
