Yes, we have been here before. The tape will be QC'd--right now, it doesn't seem to have a problem, but it is a slightly nervous situation.
If it happens to you, I assume that it happens to others and that it is a known issue.
Just want to make sure that we are doing the best can do.
The first time we played out, we didn't have blackburst. The second time we did, besides the fact that we had a rolling picture when playing out, the final tapes are identical--and both had AES flashing.
Which brings in the issue of sync: do you think it is safe to interface with a DVW-500 without blackburst going to both? That is to say to just simply hook up SDI, AES and 9 pin?
We have done it before without seeing any errors, but those tapes were not QC'd by an outside firm.
