First I will say that Michael was trying to help you trouble shoot and your response to him didn't seem to appreciate that.

Secondly, I agree that you should do this uncompressed. Boot up in OS 9 and do the project in that OS. Especially since the final project will be blown up on a large screen.

I'm probably one of the few OS 9 holdouts left in this forum, for that very reason. I'm waiting for the next-gen G5's while currently using a dual 500 G4, which will drop frames in uncompressed in OSX.
