Here's a tidbit of help. When you do decide to upgrade to Panther, I suggest you use a little program called Carbn Copy Cloner to essentially "clone" your system drive before you do the upgrade. This will make an exact copy of you system drive onto an external drive or DVD/CD etc. OSX isn't like OS 9 when it comes to backing up the system files, library etc. You can download the program from versiontracker.com. It's shareware and the creater only asks for a mere $5 for the program. It's very handy, simple and fast. This way, if anything goes wrong you can always go back to the way things were prior to the upgrade; exactly.
