hi john
the pipe should meet the same spec as the IO in terms of streams of RT EXtreme playing, on the same box
i assume that technically the igniter should do the same if you are using the apple codecs
of course with igniter you have the on board RT color correction et al (only single stream mind you)
as far as the Xraid goes, it appears from posts here that it doesn't work with the igniter!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i must say i'm rather disappointed with this
perhaps by the time i've saved enough money to get one, it'll play nice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
the guys at aurora have been oh so quiet recently, so something is brewing
i just want qualified drivers for panther!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
HTH
