Re: Audio distortion

Nobody has mentioned that this could be a problem with OS X Core Audio. I had similar problem about five months ago when outputting to DigiBeta. It took me about three inserts to get the one hour tape output.
It's been quite a long time since this problem has reappeared. I've been doing regular 60 and 90 minute outputs and no audio distortion. Just my luck the problem will pop back up next week. Aurora seemed to think in my case that Core Audio was to blame. We never did find the culprit.
It makes me very nervous when multiple people start having the same problem. We should all keep Aurora informed as to this problem. It may or may not be on their end, but they should know about it nonetheless.
