I was thinking of writing something along the lines of the danger in staying at the bleeding edge. But I think all I can say is.. wow. Your posts have all been illuminating. I'm still making a good supplemental income on FCP 2x and OS 9.2.2 with the Igniter RT 111. Doing offline HD roughs (from beta sp dubs). The ol' quicksilver dual 800- solid as a rock. Can't wait for FCP 4. Maybe I'll go to 3.04 then. ha ha. Please laugh with me, not at me.

I've enjoyed all the notes about OSX and Igniter as they will ultimately help me make a wiser transition. Appreciate everyone's shared experiences.
