Hello I have a question concerning background shading, in the image above you see the shadow of the little man very hard on the surface below. I would like to just make a plain background with only a shadow, so you do not see the surface only the shadow the little dude projects. I am using volumetric lichting but still cant get the shadow to look blurry.

So I am really asking 2 questions:

1

i would like to have a plain background with only a shadow the main object projects

2

I would like that shadow to be more blurry

I hope someone can help me out.

My thanx

Phye
