Using the tracking slider on the whole line is one method. OR...click on a certain letter. This brings up a blue bounding box around that individual letter. Playing with the slider bar will adjust the tracking after that ONE letter. The blue bounding box also has a lot of other functions that are very nice - you can adjust the size of that individual letter (size, v height, h width, rotation, etc.).
