We'll try to help, can you give us more information:
What Mac do you have?
What version of OS 9 did you install?
Did the OS 9 you installed come with that Mac?
Do you see the OS 9 in the startup manager?
What happens when you try to startup in OS 9, be specific?
Do you have any third party hardware in your Mac, or attached to it?
Is OS 9 on the same drive or partition as OS X?
Have you installed any non Apple extensions into the OS 9 extension folder?
