why i don't use Safari

I would love to use Safari, and I've tried it 2 different times with different beta releases. My problem with it is that it does not import my bookmarks. I read the documentation, and it says it will "automatically" import IE and Chimera bookmarks when it is first installed. I have both of these browsers installed, with almost the same bookmarks (running IE 5.2 & Chimera beta 0.6) and it did not bring any of my bookmarks in. The fact that there is no "import bookmarks" function is a huge deal to me. Sure, I could spend an hour manually bringing them in, but I shouldn't have to. I might be one out of a thousand that has had this problem, but the point is there should be an "import bookmarks" option.
Right now I use Chimera 0.6 because it remembers where I last had my window (i have my dock on the left side, and IE always puts the windows behind it everytime) and because of IE's page refreshing problem. Chimera does crash on me now and then, but that doesn't bother me as much as the problems I've experienced with other browsers. It's sad that I have to pick a browser based on which one annoys me less.
