Major problems trashing my trash in 10.1.5, Please help

i was having some problems installing my Auto Duck software today and a few times i had to trash what had been previously installed so that i could re-install fresh. When i went to get rid of the trash it told me this "Operation can't be completed because you don't have sufficent privelages for "0"." I click continue and then it tells me error code -35. I tried to force trash but that didn't wk either. what is going on here ? if anybody has any idea why this isn't wking i'd really appreciate it.
