1. I've played with the Masks. I don't get good control over the 'amount' or color of the window. Obviously the shape is very adjustable. My best luck was using the 'ramp' plug-in on another layer and using a multiply transfer mode.

2. There is no error. It just simply won't load the UI as if the 'setup' button doesn't work. If I quit the EF server, the UI loads up great.

If I then re trigger the EF server while the CF UI is loaded it gives me memory errors (OSX).

My interest in getting the 2 programs would be to only use EF to output the CF corrections. Will CF support it's own output at anytime?

BTW CF is amazing. I enjoy playing with it and think it is very thorough and gorgeous looking output. I would enjoy some quick presets to switch between for comparison. If I can see how it works with video output, I'd like to have the confidence to start doing straight film transfers and do the final coloring ourselves.
