Bob,

George here - Bill's editor......
Sadly, I think that it's not any where in the digital to analog path or at least minimally added at that point. I made three VHS tapes, one going from the RT2000 BOB, S-VHS to a Pana AG-7750, one going 1394 to a Sony TRV-something and then 'yellow RCA' (RS-170A?) to a consumer deck and one from the RT-2000 BOB 'yellow' to a consumer deck. Even the TRV-xxx to std TV shows the 'fringing'.
The captures were all done from S-VHS tapes recorded on Pana AG-(450, 455, 3) - (the AG-3 cam was in VHS mode BY MISTAKE) cameras and played S-VHS into the RT-2000 BOB using the S-VHS connectors.
I will play with the SA bandwidth again and not count on the computer monitor results but will see what happens after I make a VHS tape.

Mnay thanks for present and past help...

George
