Thanks Kino- for the compliment and suggestion- I've heard of X-Frog. And in looking at the site it looks good.

However, my teacher wants me to do this via (my own) modeling, so I am stuck with the method I am using(for my final project at least - I'll never do this again).

You've been very helpful in my ongoing Maya struggles.
