Re: New GL1 - more information recieved

I just got a reply to an email I had sent asking information about the GL2. The email said:

"I just contacted my Canon rep with the same question this morning and I got the "unofficial scoop". Canon should be releasing the new version GL-1? in Mid July. I am told that the Picture quality will be better than before and the menu selections have been added as well to make it a more professional camera. A price has not been mentioned yet but they should be announcing it sometime soon."

Could this mean larger CCD chips? We can hope.
