msg from admin: pls read: no political threads, please

hello all...

while i am all in favor of people saying what they want to say on the cow (as long as it's respectful), the fact remains that we are not a political board. we are here to be a place for people to come discuss multimedia topics.

this does not mean that we at the cow have our heads in the sand and are in denial about the world around us. rather, it just means that we would like our users to follow the same guidelines about posting on topic that they follow when the world is in a different state. there are endless places online to discuss politics, and we respectfully ask that you take your political conversations either offline or to those sites.
