I would not recommend Virtual PC for any video editing, compositing, etc. It's good for Office or occasional PC programs but relatively slow for major work.

Any new laptop these days can run Premier, AE, Photoshop, etc. Just get mim 1Gig of ram and big drive and firewire (all pretty standard these days). You should be able to get one for under two grand.

In the end you get what you pay for.. all that PC software is gonna cost you more than the PC anyway so if you really don't need PC editing why worry about it?
