My machine keeps on shutting down

I posted a thread last year about building a system to do computer animation on. And you guys suggested a double processor AMD Athlon MP. Tyan Tiger mother board. Anyways the computer shuts off after long periods of time, or hard work. I thought it would be a heat problem so I installed a bunch of fans and heatsinks, but the computer still does it. It crashes in the middle of rendering or just working, sometimes costing me a lot of time and years of my life because I get so mad. I need some help before I kill the box.
