Win98 crashed too. I think their might be some type of hardware conflict (based on errors that refer to "IRQL" and "hal.dll"). Oh yeah, BTW, it's a single proc. I have tried installing with only the Video card and the HD. Right now I am going to try installing again, this time disabling ALL onboard features of the board (USB,RAID,etc.) in the Bios.

Thanks again for the input. I beleive the jumpers are OK, and I don't think it's the HD, because I am able to format when the installation software works. My buddy is a tech, but he has since abandoned me when he heard the cryptic error codes I got. Now I am trying to fend this for myself. Again, ANY input is usefull to me.

I'll let you know how this goes. Again, if anyone is familiar with these error messages, "help a brother out?!?!"
