Chris...after what Noah has said wouldn't you rather get a Pioneer -R/-RW burner instead?? I would. I have both the HP dvd200i (internal) and HP dvd200e (external). They burn both +R and +RW discs.Both work fine with no problems. If the MULTI format becomes a reality the -R/-RW burners will come out ahead.
Hard to say if and when it will happen though.
