Robert,
I probably should have explained myself better. Creating chapters in your main movie is done by scrolling through the video and watching on the monitor window until you see a break point, at which you can click on the chapter creating icon on the lower left. There are other ways (like typing in a specific timecode) to set your chapter marks, but I just am using this one as an example. If you don't have a menu at all, and just the video--when you play it on your set top player, you can jump to each of these chapter marks/scenes with the next button on your remote. If you have a menu with buttons, you can link any of the chapter point/scenes to a specific button (only one scene/chapter per button). It is a two step process--you have to first select the scene/chapter, and then associate it with a particular button. Using my prior post's example, button one's link was defined to go to chapter/scene 1. For button two, you would go through the same step of left clicking and dragging the cmd link from the menu and dropping on the video. The first splash screen will appear, asking you to define what scene/chapter you want your next button to be linked to. When you click on the thumbnail representing the scene, you have completed the first task of defining the scene/chapter you want. The second task is accomplished with the next splash screen that pop's up, which is a representation of your menu. You now need to define which button you specifically want associated with the scene you just chose. You would then repeat the steps sequentially to define the associations of the rest of your buttons. You don't need to associated all of your scenes, if any, to buttons. By default, ReelDVD assigns the beginning of your video as the first scene--but you are not obligated to choose that to be associated with your first menu button. If you have a 'play all' button, you would just link it to the first scene (which by default is the beginning of your video). When the user ultimately selects that button from your menu, he/she will be brought to the beginning of your video, which will play right through to the end.
