dvd it pe can't burn

I need some serious help. I just get problems"couldn't do last command because of unknown error" or " could not do last command because file has no pg". This occurs when i attempt to burn a dvd, either from an encoded avi file from tmpgenc or straight from avi to dvdit pe. I am under the maximum amount of disk space allowed. It has been tried with cbr and 2 pass vbr(from tmpgenc) It has been tried with pcm audio and ac3. Not sure what to do. The support staff is not very helpful. So, anyone have an input?
