There are two DVD players on the market that include an RS-232 interface for playback control. The Pioneer DVD-V7400 and the Philips DVD-175 both have this capability.

The Pioneer unit is an "industrial" player that has been designed for applications that need to work 24/7. The Philips unit is essentially a consumer grade player with an extra interface.

There are also 3rd party controllers that will allow you to control multiple playback devices with frame accurate precision.

If you dont need frame accurate synchronization then a bank of the same make and model DVD player and a single remote should do the trick.
