Just installed A04 and my system won't work

Hi,

I finally got around to installing my Pioneer A04 after editing and authoring for the last 3 months. I pulled my CD-R drive out to make room after uninstalling the drive in Windows. Installed the A04. System booted fine. As soon as I started installing the software that came with it (Veritas record now, etc) the whole system went south. Now everytime I boot it I get multiple error messages:
1. "the application or dll xxxxx is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette."
2. "The application failed to initialize properly (0xc0000044) click okay to terminate application."
3. "An error occured while attempting to load resources. Please reinstall the program."
4. "Not enough quota is available to process this command."

Some boots I get all of these errors, some I just get a few. In anycase, I can't load programs anymore -- I always get the "Not enough quota" error. Sometimes I can't load help or explorer or anything.

I checked under System Info - Hardware Resources - Conflicts/Sharing and found 4 on IRQ 9 -- is this a problem?
1. Microsoft ACPI - compliant server
2. CMD PCI-0649 Ultra DMA IDE Controller
3. Intel (r) 82801 BA/BAM USB Universal Host Controller - 2442
4. Intel (r) 82801 BA/BAM USB Universal Host Controller - 2444

I am really frustrated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

By the way I tried switching the drives back and the problem is still there rendering this computer useless for now.

System: PIII-1ghz, Asus CUSL2C, 512MB SDRAM, Raptor RT, 40gig/80gig/100gig drives, Adobe Premiere 6, After Effects, ReelDVD/A-04, etc.
