I'm one of the guys who owns a set of Rick's lights and can attest to their versatility.
Picture a Kino Flo Diva 400 that breaks down into 4 individual lights and you have it.
It uses two ballasts both of which are housed in carbon fibre. I use "half" the light for a key, a "quarter" for a fill, and the other "quarter" for a hair light. In all honesty, they're not perfect for every application, but they really excell at the basic talking-head-behind-a-desk kind of thing. Try bringing one to a multi-cam shoot - guaranteed conversation starter!!! Rick came up with a novel idea - it's a very cool product and I hope it and he succeeds.
