net on rear of lens

Hi,

A client wants the look of a net on the rear lens element. From local people who may or may not really know, I've been told that I should use various types of silk stockings and various methods of securing the net to the rear element. I'd appreciate your advice on this.

I proposed adding the look in post through something like the Digital Film Tools 55mm plug-in, but that won't fly.
