Again, the Pcam and Pcine programs for the Pal Pilot can handle any format and any circle of confusion. If it's not already in the tables then you can program in your own and the program will perform all the calculations for you. A very easy to use and very powerful tool. And if you're not electronically inclined, the SamCine slide rule calculator is even easier to use and can handle almost any format. I don't recall if the new model covers the smaller video formats such as 1/4", 1/3" and 1/2", but certainly 16mm, 2/3" and everything above is fully covered. There's a wheel calculator on the front for depth of field and a nomogram on the back for determining field of view. I could attempt to explain them here but a picture is worth 1000 words and it only takes a few seconds in one's hands to figure out how to master the thing. I have both the Palm software and the SamCine slide rule and usually pull out the slide rule simply because it's faster to use.
