Thanks John.

Back in Sept Wayne Orr provided this link for a really neat Depth Of Field Calculator http://www.panavision.co.nz/kbase/optics/calcFOVform.asp

I'm told (in the film world) there are handheld guides for lenses with this info (rather than carrying my laptop around). Is there such an animal for video lenses? And do video lenses act like film lenses in regards to aperature and focal length?

Cheers! Steve
