Re: "The Blues": Mike Figgis episode annoying!

well i would say that all here will not be hiring Figgis for their next project!
now next PBS or big project if it comes down to a choice between Figgis and anybody here i wonder who would get the job?

i don't think they were looking for ordinary news show type interviews ( for whole series). they were looking for persons to push it into something little different just like any art form. years ago shaky camera was a NO-NO ( bad operator) then somebody pushed it into the "new thing" and then we saw nothing but shaky cam commercials ..

perhaps Figgis finds there persons to be 50-60's and wanted to present them as IS just like the music was presented as IS ( roots).
