Re: Nascar Promo animatic test

I want to be careful about using live action footage from the races because I don't want to hear from NASCAR's legal department about this. What I was trying to get the effect in that animatic was the cars driving down a checkered road that is waving like a flag (using AE built in waver). I think I should build the car in more detail (remember what you saw was an animatic car not the final product). I played around with the Delirum (Sp?) Camera shake and that was kinda funky to simuluate the distortion when the cars move past the camera at a high speed as if it were hand held.

What I was thinking and the end of that shot when the logo is revealed have a close up lower shot of one of the cars speed by (motion blured so I can get a way with stuff) followed some effects and use that as a transition effect to the next logo.
