Hi.

In order to see the Invig Draft wireframe rendering in the Comp window, you will need to make sure that your Layer Quality setting is set to *Draft*. It should *not* be set to Final quality (Final quality always does a high-quality render).

AE 6.5 defaults new Solid layers to Final quality (so you won't see the wireframe in the Comp window).
AE 6.0 defaulted Solid layers to Draft quality (so you will see the wireframe in the Comp window).
This is likely where your question stems from.
