I immediately suspected AE 4.1 is too old for Classic and info posted on the Zaxwerks site indicates that I may be right. I suspect that an AE upgrade may be in your future (some really fantastic features in 5.0, 5.5 and beyond!) By the way, welcome to Invigorator... it's a really great ap... you'll enjoy it a lot!

These are the system requirements for Classic:

Macintosh
- Mac OS 9.1, 9.2.1 or OSX 10.1
- Adobe After Effects 5.0 or 5.5
- OpenGL system extension (OpenGL accelerator recommended)
- All system requirements needed to run After Effects
- Adobe Illustrator or vector clip art in Illustrator format.
