I trult appreciate both your's and Jon's responses. It's nice to find a friendly forum.

I'll try what you suggested. I actually did download the latest update when I first posted earlier tonight, but haven't installed it yet :-)

When I mentioned that my logo had some reflectivity all I meant is that I was using one of the preset materials (punchy gold) and I had changed the color to a medium grey to get a silver effect (reflection maps are still a little beyond this novice).

Thanks again, I'll post back with results and an image so you guys can let me know if I'm crazy or not.
