MaxNewbie question: moving light on an elliptical path

Hi There,

My first post and I am nerveous....

I know this is surely done in AE. At http://www.canopus.com/US/support/streaming/samples/NoLimitsRTV%20(Broadband).wmv I'd love to know how on earth they get to realise the first 3 seconds.

I am sure they used Shine plugin from Trapcode. But my..., I have tried substracting to elliptic masks and added lens flare to it, but cannot quite cut it.

How easy is this? I won't say difficult here...
