I think we all know that Media 100 has gone. Died. Fallen over.

What the hell happened after Steve Bayes assembled an industry acknowledged new 844-HD team to compliment the existing fine crew at Media 100 and create new products can only be subject to conjecture. Savello and Hewes were kicked out withothers barely there a month. Still others are trying to put on a brave face and release 3.0.4 for the 844 platform.

No amount of Press releases and 'spin' now will help.

If the new CEO had held his nerve or bitten his tongue til NAB it may be a different story. People would have been impressed and amazed with the new direction for both product lines and he may have sold the company for a tidy profit.

Now he is left with egg on his face, a disillusioned 'past tense' Steve Bayes, a company no-one will buy, $4million down the drain and a mountain of very pissed off clients.

The web is a very big place and there's nowhere to hide.
