Oh, man, used office furniture is a freakin' STEAL!

If you're in a market area where the dot.coms have been tanking, your local office furniture outlets will be crammed with very cool stuff.

I helped a buddy locate a complete set of old steel desks and cabinets from the '30s. It's hand-painted with a fake mahogony wood pattern. Incredibly cool. Massive, totally bombproof ball bearing slides, big drawers, deep files, nooks and cubbies for all that stuff that had to be filed and tracked by hand before computers. The chairs totally suck, though.
