If you see audio in the vu meters then its there.
Are you able to hear audio from the media 100 at all or only in this project?
If you can't hear anything then.....
My guess is you are not getting the audio out to speakers from the media 100 card.
You'll need to run an audio cable out from the card to something, if its dv then firewire through a deck or camera.
