Don't know if this is the best way to do it but it works for me...I put all the elements that I use over and over into their own program. I create segments that will be used in a timeline and then copy them into a titles and graphics bin in that same program. By being in a separate project, I can safely clean out my drives as long as that one project isn't trashed. When I open a new project and need those elements that I created, I just import that titles and graphics bin and all my elements are right there where I can use them. You can change the elements to fit your show and no changes are made to the original version. Its a great time saver and saves disk space as well. HTH :>)
