Not true.

The point is that if you want to run Media 100 i with a G5 system you lose lossless. The data transfer between CPU and SCSI/FireWire bus on the one hand and expansion chassis and P6000 on the other hand causes trouble with the data rates needed for lossless. Therefore lossless is disabled if you´re running V8.2.x with a G5.
For all other systems OSX 10.3.x and V8.2.2 can use lossless as ever before.
