This is definitely a case where you're both right.

It really should tab to the next field and fully highlight whatever is there.

When entering lots of shots from a log, PowerLog is the way to go. ESPECIALLY, if you already have it in spreadsheet format. It is more than worth the time spent in Excel, etc. to get it to come in correctly.
