As I re-read your post, yes, you did make some things about yourself very clear.
To your rant:
I pointed out that one does need the right tools for the job you had to do, but thought that the comparison between $1000 software and 10-25k hardware you had implied in an earlier post was unfair. And yes, Motion is 8 bit, no grading, no 3D space, is not 100% stable and the rest of the litancy - I said that I was looking forward to what motion could - COULD - become. Given Apple's recent track record I am encouraged by Motion. Sorry that this gets you worked up. Cutthroat budget consious Hollywood studios who would not use FCP if it was not cost effective. As neither of us know what motion 30 will bring I cannot help you on how to edit with it then.
BTW, exactly what show is it that you are referring to? You seem to imply your work is, or at least is up there with Angel, Star Trek and The Sopronos. If you are involved on any of these 3 programs, my hat is off to you.
