Re:noise in picture on my dual gig

I running the same model Mac (MDD dual 1gig) with ver 8 Media100 and I am experiencing video noise on my Media 100 output. An earlier post from Claude St-Arnaud indicated a similar problem. Claude is able to run Media100 in OS 9 with clean output, but has noisy picture running OSX. Is anyone else running into this problem under version 8?
