I'm looking forward to seeing the changes and learning BorisFX. We have tons of BorisFX CDs and diskettes but never use or look at them. They were never installed when I got the gig and never really though of using them since we were using Comet CG.
I was told BorisFX is a bad imitation of After Effects, but I'll have to use my own judgement since I won't have a titler, unless I create picts in Freehand and import them. Actually I've also BorisFX has come a long way and is much better today.
I have Specular Infini-D, but the rendering takes way too long so I barely use it. Of course now I'm going to have a lot of processor power then what I had before.
I hope BorisFX's 3D titles and effects looks really good and is easy to use.
